A December ride.

Well it was a bit chilly but we managed to get about 5 miles in today. Nothing great but it sure beats watching the bike set.

It got up to about 50 today, so we went for ride to warm the bikes up, and snapped a picture when we stopped at the River.

not much else going on here in South West Iowa but hope to write more soon.

Louie M's Burger Lust

This morning I made my wife wake up and go with me to run some errands. To be nice for making her wake up early on a Saturday I took her out to breakfast at one of her favorite places. I have only been here a few times but it has been fantastic every time.

Louie M's Burger Lust is located at 1718 Vinton Street Omaha Nebraska 68108. Its a nice old brick building with a great staff. If your traveling it's only abut a mile off the Omaha's 13th street exit. Well worth the detour.

Give them a try you will not be disappointed!

New to Me Harley!

Well after to long of not riding I sold all the partly done projects and opted to buy a running Harley. It's a 1997 Dyna Glide-Convertible.  It is in great shape and unmolested.

The only things missing is the factory quick release bags and windshield. It has some upgrades, pipes are set up as drag pipes with no baffles and K&N filters. It will soon get some Ape hangers, Springer front end, and an open primary! I am sure it will get many many other changes.  I will post updates as I get things done.

New toy!!

Well last week I was givin a 1986 Kawasaki 750 Vulcan. It needs less work than my XS650 bobber and will let me take my time getting the bobber done so I do it the way I like. It will be good to be back on two wheels after so long without a bike. I will try to keep up on this blog when I get riding. I will use it to talk mostly about motorcycle stuff in the Area. Hope someone finds it useful or at least amusing.

Here are a couple pictures of the Vulcan when I brought it home
